Teen Conservation Club

Teen Conservation Club (TCC) is a teen-run club that works with the Santa Barbara Zoo to create awareness of local environmental issues and participate in conservation activities.

TCC’s mission is to connect teens to conservation by working with the Zoo and the public to help the environment. TCC educates people about what they can do to conserve resources and protect our planet and provides conservation opportunities to teens to increase their awareness about environmental issues.

Requirements:

  • Must be a current junior high or high school student.

  • Participate in two meetings, two conservation activities, and one awareness day each semester.

  • Submit $25 in annual dues each school year to stay active in the program.
