Run Wild for Conservation

Join a herd of runners and walkers for the first-ever “Run Wild for Conservation” family fun run hosted by the Zoo and the Jenny Schatzle Program. This one-mile, non-competitive adventure is open to all ages, including walkers and parents pushing strollers, and the route goes through behind-the-scenes areas not usually open to the public.
Participants receive a runner bib/fun pass that includes Zoo admission, a train ride, and a rock wall climb. Proceeds from the run help fund the Zoo’s education programs and conservation efforts in the wild. Spectators are welcome with purchase of Zoo admission ($18/adults, $10/children).
Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., race begins at 9 a.m.
