Gifts to Honor
You can give a thoughtful gift to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion by donating to the Santa Barbara Zoo in honor of that special someone.

With your gift, the honoree receives a card acknowledging that a gift has been made in their honor. The card provides your name as the donor, but the amount of the gift is not indicated. All contributions are tax-deductible, and your donation directly supports the health and care of more than 500 animals at the Zoo.

Memorial Program
The Santa Barbara Zoo has a Memorial Program for those who would like to honor a loved one, friend, or family member. We have benches, gardens, trees, and train benches available for sponsorship. A cast bronze plaque will be placed at the sponsored location with the wording of your choice.

Pet Memorial Program
No one is ever quite prepared for the death of a pet, and the loss can be devastating. The Santa Barbara Zoo's Pet Memorial Program can help individuals with the loss of a beloved pet by honoring the life of their "best friend". For $250, your pet's name will be engraved on a memorial wall displayed in the Zoo; for $500, an additional benefit features your pet's picture engraved on the memorial wall. You will also receive an exclusive tour of our Animal Hospital and Animal Kitchen. Donations of any amount are accepted, and all donors will receive a remembrance certificate. To make a donation, please mail in the Pet Memorial Form.
